Se encuentra en Mogadiscio donde embarcan unos 3400 refugiados que huyen de la guerra en Somalia. Sale hacia el Golfo de Aden, pero las autoridades de Yemen le deniegan la entrada en sus aguas

She was at Mogadiscio when about 3400 refugees come on board trying to scape from the war at Somalia. The ship sailed to the Gulf of Aden but the Yemen authorities refuse the entry in their waters

Dada la precaria situación a bordo, debido a la falta de agua y viveres, el Capitán decide varar el barco en las proximidades de Aden. Algunos mueren ahogados al tratar de llegar a tierra y otros mueren de hambre y deshidratación. Algunas fuentes informan sobre 90 muertos y 40 desaparecidos

The situation on board was precarious whitout water and food. The Master decided to run aground the vessel near Aden. Some people drown themselves trying to reach the shore, others died on board of starvation and dehydration. Some sources inform about 90 people dead and 40 missing
